Sudhanshu Roy

Sudhanshu is a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Senior Associate in the international arbitration department of Foley Hoag LLP. He has over fifteen years of experience serving as counsel to private companies, sovereign states and state entities in disputes before tribunals constituted pursuant to various arbitral rules, including SIAC, ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL. He also acts in enforcement and set aside matters before U.S. courts and advises private and state clients on treaty negotiation, legal reform and contractual matters. His experience covers a broad array of sectors and topics, including energy, renewables, cleantech, healthcare, construction, infrastructure, telecom, automobiles, shipping and taxation. Sudhanshu is admitted to practice law in Washington D.C., New York and Delhi.

Karthik Nagarajan

Karthik is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is Assistant General Counsel-International Disputes at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He is a seasoned international lawyer whose experience includes advising Fortune 500 companies, leading SOEs, sovereigns, and NGOs on complex commercial and investor-State disputes in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Karthik’s prior experience includes practicing for over a decade at White & Case, where he was part of the litigation team that advised Saudi Aramco on its 2019 IPO. Karthik has also served as Senior Counsel-International Legal Affairs at RTI International where he managed legal risk and helped the company implement international development projects in over 75 nations. Karthik teaches International Business Transactions at George Washington University School of Law and is a Member of Y-ADR Steering Committee at the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.

Jorge A. Mestre

Jorge A. Mestre engages in a commercial litigation practice, including international arbitration and litigation. In Chambers USA, he has been praised for “his strategic sense and creative thinking in critical litigation matters” and characterized as “a brilliant litigator with the creative edge; he sees a tactical advantage in what seems like an intractable problem.” Among his many high-stakes matters, Mestre successfully represented a Chevron attorney in a case that was part of the $100 billion, 18-year litigation over Chevron’s alleged environmental damage in the Amazon. He also successfully represented Dr. Craig Wright in a lawsuit that sought approximately $600 billion in damages. After years of intense litigation culminating in a trial, the jury returned a verdict in Dr. Wright’s favor. Mestre has litigated cases in both federal and state court and has also litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish.

Amy Foust

Amy Foust is a USPTO-registered patent attorney recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property Law by the Florida Bar. A former R&D scientist and in-house counsel, Amy has helped multinational companies navigate technology-related transactions and disputes from multiple vantage points. As a Florida Supreme Court-certified civil mediator, a member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial and Consumer Dispute Panels, and, most recently, a Fellow of CiArb, Amy works with parties to craft tailored, cost-effective processes for resolving disputes. She is at her best working with relationship-intensive technology transactions, such as licenses, joint development, contract manufacturing, and co-marketing arrangements.
