Parties choose arbitration for a variety of reasons. Whether parties arbitrate for reasons of cost, privacy, speed, effectiveness, or arbitration’s potential to enable disputing Parties to salvage or preserve relationships, arbitration has one key advantage: the near global enforceability of arbitral awards.
The North American Branch (NAB) invites you to join us on 22 March 2021 at 11 am ET to learn about how Judge Shira Scheindlin, Ms. Blanca del Carmen Martinez Mendoza, and Ms. Deborah Hylton provide Parties the procedures they need to reach an enforceable award.
Judge Shira Scheindlin will address case management techniques to decrease cost and increase effectiveness of the arbitral process. Ms. Carmen Martinez Mendoza and Ms. Deborah Hylton will address elements of an effective expedited proceeding and the implicit tradeoffs involved in expedited proceedings.
Dr. Katherine Simpson is the moderator for this program.
