Mian Sheraz Javaid is a highly experienced barrister with over 20 years of experience leveraging his background as a Civil Engineer with a specialization in construction and energy disputes.
Sheraz frequently sits as an arbitrator, mediator, adjudicator and dispute board member and also provides specialized training globally as an approved faculty list member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators including Mediation, Arbitration and Construction Adjudication.
Sheraz is a member of the Business & Property Group at No 5 Barristers Chambers in the United Kingdom. He is the Chair of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Pakistan Branch, Country Representative of DRBF, Delegate to the ICC Commission on ADR and Arbitration and Chair of the ICC task force for CPEC Disputes. He also Chairs the annual ‘Pakistan International Disputes Weekend’ in Pakistan.
After collaborating with major law firms, Ms. Cecilia Flores Rueda founded her own dispute resolution boutique FloresRueda Abogados (2015), where she participates as arbitrator and counsel in large and complex national and international cases. She also represents clients before federal and local courts in a wide range of civil, commercial, administrative, and constitutional (amparo), labor, and family matters.
Ms. FloresRueda holds the position of Counsel of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) (2020 to date) and is a member of the Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes of the USMCA (Committee 31.22) (2010 to date). She represented Mexico before the UNCITRAL Working Group on Conciliation and Arbitration (2000 to 2015).
She has been recognized in Chambers Latin America, Leaders League and Who’s Who Legal, in the categories of International Arbitration and Litigation. She was awarded by CIAC, for her outstanding career in arbitration (2014), by the Madrid Court of Arbitration and the Madrid Businesswomen’s Association (2022) and Foro Jurídico publication recognized her as one of the Most Influential Women Lawyers in Mexico (2022).
